Hosted by Dr. Michael Golden, Dr. Barbara Kurshan, and Rita Ferrandino, this bootcamp includes an interactive presentation on selling into the US education marketplace, a panel discussion featuring education industry sales professionals, and a networking reception with panelists and other mentors. Each year, Penn GSE welcomes leading thinkers and researchers from across the country for its Visiting Scholars of Color lecture series.  

Janelle Scott, an associate professor at the University of California-Berkeley who explores the relationship between education, policy, and equality of opportunity, will speak March 14.

Penn’s Mask and Wig is an all-male comedy troupe that has entertained Philadelphians and the Penn community since 1889 with its original revues.  This year’s production, I Am What I Amazon, has been adapted to appeal to children ages 12 and under.  Bring the kids for lunch (hot dogs, chips, beverage) and the show.

Tickets are $25 for adults and $10 for children 12 and under.

Join Penn Alumni Education and The Penn Fund for an afternoon of Macbeth! Penn’s Shakespeare scholar, Professor Zachary Lesser will offer a talk on the play and its author, after which we’ll enjoy a three-course lunch at Riva at Navy Pier. Together we’ll walk to the brand new, flexible performance space, The Yard, to enjoy a matinee performance of Macbeth. Created by Aaron Posner and Teller (of Penn & Teller), you’re sure to enjoy their enchanted take on “the Scottish play” even more after Dr. Lesser’s lecture!

Tickets are $75 (includes show, lecture, and lunch), and are limited and non-refundable.
