Applying to the Program

Application requirements for certification and master's degree are as follows:

•	Penn GSE Application for Admission

•	Statement of purpose

•	Three letters of recommendation:

	A current principal who will serve as your site-based mentor
	A recommendation from someone who can attest to your leadership abilities (one should be from administrator)
	A recommendation from an individual (a former college professor, if possible) who can attest to the candidate's preparedness for rigorous academic work

•	Graduate Record Examination (GRE) results, which must be sent directly to Penn GSE from the Educational Testing Service (ETS), www.ets.org. (Not required for certification only if applicant has earned a master's degree)

•	Application fee. Checks should be made payable to the "Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania."

•	Undergraduate/graduate transcript(s): Official copies of all academic transcripts from all higher education institutions you have attended, or are currently attending. Official copies of transcripts are signed and sealed by the institution(s). A cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.

•	CV or resume

•	Personal interview with the Program Director
