Penn GSE faculty have achieved a rare trifecta in the leadership of professional organizations. Three top associations in education have elected four Penn GSE faculty members to current or future terms as president—demonstrating the School’s place at the forefront of education.

Stanton Wortham appointed Faculty Director of the Penn Online Learning Initiative

Stanton Wortham has been named faculty director of the Online Learning Initiative at the University of Pennsylvania, effective Sept. 1. He is the Judy and Howard Berkowitz Professor in Penn’s Graduate School of Education.

Photo Gallery: Penn GSE's newest alumni

On Saturday, Penn GSE recognized the accomplishments of its newest graduates as part of Penn's 259th Commencement. 

May 2015 graduates were joined by December 2014's graduates, and those expected to complete in August 2015 were welcomed to join the procession as well.

Penn GSE will welcome just over 700 students into the alumni ranks.
