In celebration of its Centennial, Penn GSE has invited actress, playwright and social commentator Anna Deavere Smith for a special performance on May 5 at 5:00 p.m. at the Penn Museum.
Penn’s Graduate School of Education has once again been recognized among the best-performing graduate schools of education. U.S. News and World Report named the School 7th in its recently released 2016 rankings, the fourth consecutive year Penn GSE has placed within the top 10.
The American Association of Colleges for Teacher Education’s Committee on Professional Preparation and Accountability has selected Pam Grossman, Dean of Penn GSE, as the 2015 recipient of the Edward C. Pomeroy Award for Outstanding Contributions to Teacher Education.
January 5, 2015 — With a focus on continuing her career-long commitment to teacher education, Pam Grossman has joined the faculty of Penn GSE as its 11th dean. Grossman, an internationally renowned scholar, arrived at Penn on January 1 from Stanford University’s Graduate School of Education, where she helped found the Center to Support Excellence in Teaching.
