The following research instruments are available for purchase through the Penn Child Research Center.
These measures were created for research purposes only. They were developed and validated using a target population of children in a large, urban school district, which serves a large percentage of low-income, minority children. Use of these norms with a very different population is not recommended, in keeping with the national standards for educational and psychological testing (Standard 12.3, AERA, APA, & NCME, 1999).
To obtain a copy of an instrument, please complete the Instrument Request Form, after which you will be contacted by a member of the Penn Child Research team. The cost of each measurement manual is $50. The FIQ is also available in Spanish.
Instruments and manuals may not be reproduced or duplicated, altered or combined with other scales, or used for non-research purposes. The Penn Child Research Center waives the right to refuse instrument requests, based on the nature of the intended research. Requestors must agree to provide a copy of the final paper or report utilizing a purchased instrument to Penn Child Research.
