Mon - Fri; 9am - 10pm
Students should get help from regular help desk staff.

Lab Access Policies

The GSE Computer Lab provides resources for the Graduate School of Education and the School of Social Policy and Practice. The GSE Lab can be used by GSE and SP2 faculty, staff, students.

General Lab Policies

• The lab should be a quiet workplace.
• Eating, drinking, and smoking are not permitted.
• Users are responsible for picking up after themselves.
• No duplication of copyrighted software is allowed.
• Users are not allowed to install their own software or make changes to setup of lab machines without prior arrangement with a lab consultant.
• Users will need to save their personal files to their own removable media.

Please do not leave work unattended for more than 20 minutes, because the computer may be needed by others. Computers abandoned in this way will be shut down to allow others to begin working. Users should save to floppy or USB drives as the lab consultants cannot be responsible for the safety of files left on the hard drives. And don't forget your disks!
