The Education Policy Research Practicum, the culminating experience of the MSEd in Education Policy, partners student teams with educational leaders to conduct client-based, applied research projects. In these formal client briefings, our students will present the results of the analysis they have conducted over the past semester.
The projects that students will be presenting are:
Examining Trends in Mathematics Achievement (The Philadelphia School)
Trends in the School District of Philadelphia (SDP) District-wide Surveys

Do Diagnostics Predict High-Stakes Performance? Examining the Relationship between Student Achievement on Formative Assessments and State Accountability Exams (Upper Dublin School District)
Understanding the Impact of Teacher Hiring Policies on Teacher Retention and the Distribution of Teacher Performance (Tulsa Oklahoma Public Schools)
Examining the Effects of Extended Day Kindergarten (Ridley School District)
Examining the Role of a Summer Enrichment Program in Preparing Students for Selective High School Admissions (Steppingstone Scholars)
Presentations will take place at 3440 Market Street, Room 502. Continental breakfast will be served.
