Wednesday, March 25, 2015 - 4:30pm - 6:30pm

3440 Market St., Room 501

The Applied Psychology and Human Development Division is proud to host the event, Human Trafficking: What Counselors and Educators Should Know about It.  Come join this widely needed discussion on human trafficking with our  guest speaker, Gail Hambleton, the Vice President of Global Peace Foundation USA. Hambleton is an expert on the issue of human trafficking. She will discuss this complex human rights issue and what counselors and educators can do to play an important role in the counter-trafficking network. She will also be discussing this problem from a more regional aspect.

This talk is part of the Risk and Prevention course in the APHD program, but all students across all schools are welcome and encouraged to attend! Since this topic is not normally covered in the APHD program, we highly encourage our students to take advantage of the opportunity to learn about the important issue of human trafficking.
