More About the Year of Sound

Each year, members of Penn's faculty, staff, and students select a theme that centralizes a focus for the year's lectures, presentations, and research.  The academic theme hosted by Pen's Provost office for 2013-2014 academic year is the "Year of Sound." Beginning with the 2013 summer reading project, this year-long journey highlights the importance of sound in our daily lives and provides insight on sound's effects on our brain and subconscious.  For more information about the Year of Sound, please visit https://secure.www.upenn.edu/themeyear/sound/.
