General admission status is available to students who wish to enroll in education courses for personal or professional development without applying to a degree program.
You may take up to two courses as a general admissions student. Courses taken in general admissions status are not guaranteed to be counted towards a degree program.
Applicants who plan on applying to a degree program are advised to talk to the program coordinator to choose their courses.
Select courses will not be available to you as a general admission student as some courses may have prerequisites or require a permit. Degree students are given priority for those few courses in which enrollment is limited.
General admission students must maintain a 3.0 grade point average
General admission students must submit a new application and all the supporting documents when applying to a degree program.
Non-US citizens and permanent residents cannot be accepted for general admission from abroad.
