Naming Penn GSE as a beneficiary of your will, retirement plan or life insurance policy is easy and can be done at any age. By making a bequest to Penn GSE, you can prepare future generations of exceptional leaders in education. Bequests provide scholarships for aspiring teachers and support groundbreaking faculty research.
To include GSE in your will, share this language with your advisor: “I give, devise, and bequeath to The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, a nonprofit corporation organized and existing under the laws of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and located in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, the sum of $____________ [or ______% of the rest, residue and remainder of my estate] for the benefit of the Graduate School of Education, to be used for its general purposes.”
You can also make a gift through your retirement plan or life insurance policy, by naming “The Trustees of the University of Pennsylvania, for the benefit of the Graduate School of Education” on the change of beneficiary form for the amount or percentage you wish to donate.
You can also fund a charitable gift annuity that provides guaranteed annual payments for life, and tax benefits, with the remainder to support GSE.
