Curriculum

WE TEACH AN ADVANCED AND COHERENT CURRICULUM FOCUSED ON STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT IN HIGHER EDUCATION

Building on the significant experience of participants, our systematic approach to the both the curriculum and dissertation focuses on the core management competencies and applied research skills required for expert leadership in higher education.

Rather than emphasizing technical expertise in specific functional areas, our curriculum reinforces your understanding of American higher education as a complex system. There are four strands of coursework: Foundations of Higher Education, Contexts of Higher Education, Strategic Skills and Functions, and Applied Research.
