Benjamin Brumley is a second-year Ph.D. student in Quantitative Methods at the University of Pennsylvania - Graduate School of Education. Benjamin’s research interests include psychometric development in the context of school success, and utilization of integrated data systems to inform social policy. Currently, he is working on validation analyses for a prekindergarten formative assessment of school readiness (the Integrated Check-Ins). In addition, he is furthering work with researchers at Penn Child Research Center to publish findings from an ongoing investigation of links between characteristics of early homeless experiences and later school outcomes for a cohort of students in the School District of Philadelphia.
