Our Mission
The Office of International Programs within the Penn Graduate School of Education seeks to gain international recognition for Penn GSE; to provide a global perspective to faculty and students by promoting international education in research and practice, both within the U.S. and in other parts of the world; and to gain new insights into and approaches to U.S. urban education. Programs offer opportunities for eastern and western countries to collaborate and learn from each other. This mission is accomplished through:
- Faculty and student research and exchange;
- Professional development and educational enrichment programs;
- Collaborative international research; and
- Visits, roundtables, and seminars offering opportunities for international dialogue.
