Mission & Values

The Office of International Programs of the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education (Penn GSE) seeks to gain international recognition for Penn GSE, to broaden its global perspective, and to promote international education in research and practice, both within the United States and in other parts of the world.

Our programs encourage exchange and collaboration across the globe by using the partnerships and resources available here at the University of Pennsylvania. In order to accomplish our mission, we promote:

• Collaborative research and exchange among faculty, students and administrators
• Professional development and executive education programs
• Educational enrichment and direct immersion programs
• Visits, roundtables, conferences, and seminars enabling international dialogue
• Custom technical assistance for educational development
