The curriculum incorporates the Interstate School Leaders Licensure Consortium (ISLLC) Standards for School Leaders.
In conjunction with the Mid-Career Doctorate, students may pursue a Pennsylvania State Letter of Eligibility for school superintendent. Students who successfully complete the Mid Career Program, participate in a field experience, complete the Aspiring Superintendents Program offered by the Penn Center for Educational Leadership, and meet additional state requirements (e.g., past professional experience) as specified by law and regulation, may be eligible for Commonwealth of Pennsylvania Administrative Certification. Charges may apply beyond the standard Mid-Career tuition and fees. Students seeking certification outside of Pennsylvania or students with specific questions on eligibility should call or email for details.
