Qingdao Educational Leadership Institute

Penn-Qingdao Educational Leadership Institute
GSE International has collaborated with the Penn Center for Educational Leadership to conduct the first Penn-Qingdao Educational Leadership Institute in America.

GSE International assisted in the development of the model for this program and in sending a six-member delegation from PCEL to Qingdao in July 2006, to help create a training center for superintendents and other education leaders in Qingdao.

Subsequently, 21 education leaders from Qingdao came to PCEL on November 13-24, 2006, to participate in panel discussions, seminars and on-site visitations to local schools to better understand education in America. Six area school districts were included in the Institute, and the superintendents of the Philadelphia and Lower Merion School Districts were members of the delegation to Qingdao.
