Penn GSE-CIGNA Training Program

CIGNA-GSE Training Program
Since 1996, Penn GSE and the CIGNA Corporation have collaborated to offer a three-week training program for Chinese executives from CIGNA's Beijing office. The Program aims to improve participants' knowledge of economics, English, and American culture. Emphasis is placed on American business practices, with a specific focus on the U.S. insurance system.

Curriculum
Classroom sessions are held on the campus of the University of Pennsylvania and in the Philadelphia office of CIGNA Corporation. During their three weeks in the U.S., participants study the following topics:

• Economics
• Management
• U.S. Culture
• American Higher Education
• Investment Management
• The Internet and Business
• Entrepreneurship
• Financial Management
• Managed Healthcare in the U.S.
