Penn GSE offers the following educational enrichment programs for student groups from other countries:
Penn-PCCW International Young Scholars Program provides talented Chinese high school students with educational opportunities and international experiences that will enrich their understanding of the American education system and American society in a global context, in order to prepare them to become future leaders in China.
The Penn PCP International Young Scholars Program is the newest facet of the nearly decade-long collaborative effort between the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education and Hong Kong PCCW Limited. Now, they have joined with the China Center for International Educational Exchange (CCIEE) of China's Ministry of Education to create a new pre-college program focused on preparing outstanding Chinese high school graduates for global leadership roles in their future careers.
Penn China Summer Camp is an intensive program designed for children and teenagers from the People's Republic of China and their parents. Participants have the opportunity to familiarize themselves with American culture and educational system, and improve their English-language skills.
Kyoritsu Summer Enrichment Program initiated in 1995, aims to sharpen Japanese students' English language skills and provide American cultural experiences.
Penn Choate Future Leaders China Study Tour a collaboration with Choate Rosemary Hall, is a two-week study tour designed to promote understanding of U.S.-China relations among the next generation of American leaders.
US-China Future Leaders Program, currently in development, will promote relationships between the rising leaders of the United States of America and the People's Republic of China. Over three years, these future leaders will convene for one month each year in each nation to strengthen their understanding of USA-PRC relations and particularly the political, economic, and public policy issues each nation must address in the 21st century.
