What's your favorite day trip?

OK. So we do appreciate the fact that Manhattan is an easy trip away from Philly. Doug, a former New Yorker, likes to hop the train for a quick visit. If you're on a limited budget, try one of the Chinatown buses, the Bolt Bus, or the Mega Bus.

Melissa

When Melissa plans a day trip, it involves exploring a Philadelphia neighborhood she doesn't encounter every day. Her favorite is a visit to the Art Museum area. With points of interest including the Rodin Museum, the Philadelphia Museum of Art, and The Franklin Institute, it's easy to see why she likes to keep it local.

Alyssa

Alyssa does the classic Philadelphia day trip and heads down the shore. Her favorite beaches are on Long Beach Island but Jersey's got a lot of shoreline - so feel free to explore.

LaToya

LaToya likes to relax on the train down to D.C. — it's just two hours away — and then take in the sights along the National Mall.
