PennSearch

PennSearch is a full-service search firm that has successfully completed searches with very high client satisfaction in Pennsylvania and New Jersey.  Through our client networks reaching over 250 school districts and organizations on a monthly basis, we have specialized in the Mid-Atlantic region for this work and limited our searches to no more than four per year to keep our quality at the highest level.

The Penn Center for Educational Leadership has many technical assistance services to support school boards, superintendents, and school administrators.  Our Aspiring Superintendents Program allows us to know, mentor, and develop assistant superintendents and administrators who are working toward the superintendency as a career goal.  Coupled with our School Study Councils, who meet monthly with over 100 Superintendents across three states, we have effective bases to know and work with the best candidates for leadership positions in our region.

PennSearch has created a search process that adapts processes used by search firms in education, not-for-profit, and corporate sectors to meet the needs of high performing school districts and organizations.  Our process includes a range of activities that are designed to focus the board on the key issues it faces as it prepares to hire a new CEO for the district as well as activities to engage the full range of stakeholders–inside and outside the formal school district or organization–in ways the board deems most helpful in the decision-making role.  We offer a “Compendium of Services” that begins with issues like temporary services before the search begins to board-superintendent team-building and leadership coaching after the search is over.  Our inclusive search offers the most services in the market place at the lowest cost.
