You're invited to join us for our Virtual Open Houses on

Thursday, November 15, 2006, 4:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m. EST

The Virtual Open House is unlike any other that we host at Penn GSE. You will have the opportunity to interact LIVE with our faculty, current students, and admissions officers all from your own computer. We're bringing our campus to you!

During our open house, you will:

1. Receive an overview of our degree programs, the application process, and student life.
2. Listen to faculty and students discuss current research, classes, and academic opportunities at PennGSE.
3. Learn more about the school, the University, and Philadelphia.
4. Interact with our presenters, as well as other prospective applicants, in the live question and answer sessions.
5. Type in questions and have them answered immediately and personally by our program coordinators.

There are two ways in which you can fully participate in the event (see technical requirements below). You choose!

1. View and listen to the live presentation and ask questions completely through your computer and Internet.
2. View the live presentation through your computer and Internet, join the toll-free phone conference (Domestic only) to listen, and ask questions verbally or through the computer.

With either method above, you will need the following:

1. Computer with the following system requirements:
   a. 200 MHz processor or faster, 64 MB RAM minimum/128 MB recommended.
   b. 16 bit sound card and speakers
   c. Windows 2000/Windows XP or Apple Macintosh OS X 10.3
   d. Internet Explorer 6.0, Netscape 7.1 or the Mozilla Firefox installed
   e. Screen resolution of 800x600 pixel resolution or greater (1024x768 pixels recommended)
2. Media Players (Required for Option 1 above)
   a. Microsoft Windows Player 9
   b. RealNetworks Real Player 10 and RealOne
3. If you elect to join the phone conference (Option 2 above) you will need the ability to be on the phone and the Internet at the same time.

Even if you do not meet all of the technical requirements, you may still participate in this event and we encourage you to register. You may either:

• Listen to the live presentation on the phone without the visual.
• Watch the presentation on the web without the audio component.
  or
• Replay the presentation with the sound at a later time. We will make this presentation available for replay.

Penn GSE will waive all application fees for those who attends the Virtual Open House. To receive the fee waiver, simply print out your registration confirmation page and submit it with your application.
