Penn Project for Civic Engagement: Community Forums to Inform the Upper Darby School District Budget

The Board of School Directors of the Upper Darby School District has asked the Center for School Study Councils and the Penn Project for Civic Engagement to develop and implement a process to gather community input into budgeting priorities for the 2013-2014 school year. The project will involve community forums during which participants work through a set of budget choices facing the district. We will take the priorities and rationale that emerge from these forums and give them to the board to respond to and include in their deliberations.
