Policy, Measurement, and Evaluation Division

The Policy, Measurement, and Evaluation (PME) division prepares students for careers with academic, government, and non-governmental research organizations. Academic programs and research in the division emphasize sound multi-method analyses of educational policies and practices; an understanding of the broader economic, social, political, and structural forces that influence education policy and management; and the ways in which education institutions can best cope with change. Students work closely with faculty and deepen their academic understandings with valuable co-curricular activities like research assistantships at the Consortium for Policy Research in Education.

PME offers the following programs: Education Policy and Policy Research, Evaluation, and Measurement (PREM). For an overview of program essentials, click here.
