Professional School Counseling
The Professional School Counseling M.S.Ed. is an executive-style master’s-degree program for working educators and professionals interested in working as school counselors. The program has been created in partnership with the American School Counselor Association (ASCA). The Professional School Counseling (PSC) master’s program uses an executive-learning format that enables students to earn their degree without giving up their current employment. The degree can be earned in two years of monthly weekend classes and one week of intensive study each summer. Students who successfully complete this program may apply to the Pennsylvania Department of Education-approved Certification Program in School Counseling and receive the Educational Specialist-School Counselor certificate.
The Professional School Counseling Master’s Degree Program seeks a diverse group of participants, but one that shares both a record of accomplishment and the potential to use the program as a springboard to even greater achievements.
