2019 SAWA Awards - Volunteer Judges Needed!

The Philadelphia Writing Project, local affiliate for the 2019 Scholastic Art & Writing Awards, is looking for volunteer judges December 28-January 19, 2019. Judges will help us recognize the most talented young writers in grades 7-12 from the Philadelphia area. Local winners will have their work adjudicated on a national level.

The Scholastic Art & Writing Awards is the largest, longest running, most prestigious recognition program for creative teenagers. For more than 90 years, the Awards have provided educators with a unique opportunity to motivate and challenge students to become better writers. RWL students who participate may use the experience to fulfill the professional development requirement as outlined in the RWL MS handbook!
