Colloquium Presented by Dr. Brian Burt

Dr. Brian Burt, Assistant Professor of Higher Education at Iowa State University, will present a colloquium titled: Persistence in Engineering Graduate Programs: The Role of Emic and Etic Adaptive Strengths.  Dr. Burt studies the experiences of graduate students in STEM, and the institutional policies and practices that influence students’ educational and workforce pathways. He also explores learning within research group experiences.
