Spring Seminar Series: Dr. Julie Cohen

Join us for Dr. Julie Cohen's seminar "Experimental Evidence on Modularizing Content in Teacher Education." This event is hosted by Penn's Collaboratory for Teaching and Teacher Education and the IES Predoctoral Training Program.

Dr. Julie Cohen is the Charles S. Robb Associate Professor at the University of Virginia’s School of Education and Human Development. Her research focuses on the conceptualization and measurement of teaching quality, the ways in which accountability and teacher evaluation systems shape teaching practice and the development of effective instructional practices in pre-service teacher education and professional development. 

The Spring Speaker Series is a great opportunity to engage with leading experts in education research.The series is open to all Penn students, faculty, and staff.  While we prefer all in-person attendance, a virtual option is available  as well.
