TESOL Workshop

The TESOL Workshop provides participants with essential, introductory skills needed to teach or tutor English as an additional language either in the US or in international settings.

Topics include:

• Teaching sounds and structures of English
• TESOL teaching methods and approaches
• Principles of Second Language Acquisition
• Developing materials for ESL/ EFL
• Planning lessons and classroom management
• Language assessment
• Technology in language teaching
• Employment in the TESOL profession
• Current topics in Educational Linguistics

Each workshop is limited to sixteen participants. Registration for the October workshop will be accepted until Friday, October 12th at 5:00pm or until capacity is reached, after which applicants will be wait-listed.
