The Mid-Career Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership is an executive format, cohort-based, intensive 3-year program (dissertation integrated), for experienced educational leaders from public, charter, parochial, and independent schools, and other organizations, nationwide. Once a year Penn accepts a select group of 25 leaders with whom to re-shape education. We meet one week each July, one weekend each month, and occasionally online. Students continue to lead in their diverse communities, integrating intensively their research and practice. The Mid-Career Doctorate in Educational Leadership prepares school leaders to be strategic decision makers at their institutions and guiding voices in education policy and practice
