Biography
Winston Roberts is an educator, entrepreneur, and AI-in-education leader. He serves as the director of GenerationAI at ISTE, where he leads its Google.org-funded coalition advancing AI in education. He is also the founder of Teacher in a Suit, a consulting practice through which he has trained more than 1,000 educators to use AI and reimagine teaching and learning. He has spoken at SXSW EDU, ASU+GSV, and ISTE Live, and his work has been featured in Psychology Today, The Economist, and on the cover of EdTech Magazine.
A graduate of Penn GSE’s Education Entrepreneurship program, he now serves the program as a senior AI advisor, helping early-stage founders see the potential of AI and leverage it to transform their ventures and maximize their impact in education. Before his current work, Winston spent 10 years teaching math and financial literacy in K–12 classrooms, 8 of them at KIPP: New Jersey. He holds an M.S. in Education Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania, an M.A.T. from Relay Graduate School of Education, and a B.A. in Political Science from Morehouse College.
