After more than a year of disruption, will global education systems revert to business-as-usual or transform to support all learners? Join Catalyst @ Penn GSE and the Harold W. McGraw, Jr. Prize in Education for How Innovations Flourish from June 8-10. We're convening education leaders and innovators from around the globe to discuss how education innovations arise, the conditions under which they succeed, and their potential to become vehicles for change.

Penn’s African American Resource Center (AARC) in partnership with Restorative Practices @ Penn (RP@P), Makuu, CAPS, and the LGBT Center will be offering another healing and processing space for Black faculty and staff. The Circle space can be a good container for people to process with their community, heal themselves, build and strengthen connections, and/or to plan for action. Join us as we host this healing and processing space to do just that. This Circle is part of an ongoing series of opportunities for Black members of the Penn professional community to come together and be in meaningful solidarity with one another.

Klaxoon is a whiteboard and interactive meeting tool that we are exploring at Penn GSE for remote working and learning. In this demo, we will use the whiteboard to play a twist on Family Feud called, "Herd Mentality."

As we continue to look for new ways to connect during these times, the GSE Community-Building Committee is excited to introduce the GSE Virtual Breakroom. Each 3rd Thursday of the month, the breakroom will be open from 12:30pm-1:30pm for all to drop by. Join us for most of the time or even 5 minutes to say hi, and family and pets are welcomed.

Join Juliana Rosati to share readings on the theme of Pride Month. Bring a book excerpt or poem to read on the theme, or just come to chat about what you’re reading these days. She will email the link the day before or morning of.
