Introduction

Teacher with young students sit on the carpet floor discussing a book assignment

This course supports educators in using student information in meaningful, practical ways to inform daily instruction. Participants will learn how to interpret and apply insights from screeners, formative assessments, and benchmark data to plan targeted lessons, design flexible small group instruction, and make responsive, in-the-moment instructional decisions.

Through collaborative learning and real classroom applications, educators will move beyond collecting data to using it with purpose—identifying student needs, adjusting instruction, and monitoring progress over time. The course emphasizes actionable strategies that can be immediately implemented to strengthen instruction and improve student outcomes.
