Professional Biography
Shahab Kaviani is an entrepreneur based in the DC area.
A successful entrepreneur, Shahab has founded three SaaS companies over a 20-year period, leading to multiple exits including CoFoundersLab. As the CEO, he helped grow the community to over 500,000 entrepreneurs globally.
Over the last decade, he has focused on understanding the talent combination required to build high-performing startup teams, and has conducted workshops on co-founders, advisory boards, and SaaS partnerships worldwide, including at NYU Stern School of Business and Columbia Business School.
Shahab is a third-year capstone instructor for Penn GSE’s Education Entrepreneurship master’s program. He also serves as an executive coach at SaaS Academy. Shahab was most recently the co-founder of Breezio, a community engagement platform for professional associations and nonprofits, where he now serves as an adviser and board member. Shahab's passion is helping to build and foster the innovation economy. He was recently an adjunct professor at the University of Maryland, teaching International Entrepreneurship & Innovation. Shahab speaks around the world on the subjects of entrepreneurship, building startup teams, and fundraising. He earned a bachelor of arts in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
