What is the Mental Health Summit?

The Summit equips teams from school districts and educational organizations to improve their school districts’ mental health capacity.

Teams will learn how to:

1. develop comprehensive mental health and development strategic plans for their organizations,
2. utilize the Penn GSE/CCIU Mental Health Toolbox to support student and adult development of mental health competencies and the ability to utilize an array of mental health strategies, and
3. use improvement science techniques to build effective teams and implement action plans.

Who should come to the Summit?

Teams of 3–6 comprising organizational leaders, such as directors of student/pupil services and/or other central office leaders, building leaders, counselors, and teacher leaders should attend.
