May 16, 2013 – Penn GSE is proud to announce that Security Officer Edwin Ramos recently received two awards in recognition of his outstanding service to the University of Pennsylvania and its students. Officer Ramos received the GAPSA award in recognition of his outstanding security work in University City, which was given to him by the undergraduate student body. He received a second award from Allied Barton in recognition of his outstanding services in returning lost items and providing polite and courteous service to visitors of the University. In honor of these awards, Officer Ramos was recognized as an integral part of an outstanding law enforcement presence in University City during a ceremony at Penn’s Nursing School. “Officer Ramos is a hard worker and very outgoing. He goes above and beyond the call of duty," says GSE's Director of of Fiscal Operations Greg Tausz. “He greets every person who walks in the door, and we all feel safe with him on duty."
