Biography
Dr. Serrano Legrand is a scholar, educational leader, designer, and entrepreneur. He currently serves as the national director of mathematics at the KIPP Foundation, where he supports states from across the country with implementing and evaluating impact of HQIM math curricula. He also builds regional and state capacities of mathematics teaching and learning by leading the professional development efforts of leaders at all levels. He is an EMP (Entrepreneurial Mindset Profile)-certified practitioner and CEO and founder of Grand Life & Living, LLC. A native of Brooklyn, New York, Dr. Legrand received his Ed.D. from Penn GSE, M.A.T. from Relay Graduate School of Education, and his B.S.B.A. in Finance and Social Entrepreneurship from the University of Pennsylvania. He is a current resident of Philadelphia.
