The Penn GSE Health Professions Education certificate is an accelerated, interprofessional program designed for clinical faculty, trainees, and students involved in a health professions field, such as dentistry, medicine, nursing, pharmacy, veterinary medicine, and other allied health fields.
The Penn GSE Health Professions Education certificate program prepares individuals to successfully design, deliver, and evaluate sophisticated education programs throughout various healthcare disciplines and diverse learning environments.

The Health Professions Certificate Program invites you to learn more about the program at a virtual information session. Join us for a 30-minute presentation and discussion that will include a program overview and time to get your questions answered by the instructors leading the program.
Dates & Times:
In support of improving patient care, Penn Medicine is jointly accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education (ACCME), the Accreditation Council for Pharmacy Education (ACPE), and the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC), to provide continuing education for the healthcare team.
Physicians: Penn Medicine designates this live activity for a maximum of 45 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits.™ Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
Nurses: The program will award 45 contact hours.
Physician Assistants: Penn Medicine has been authorized by the American Academy of PAs (AAPA) to award AAPA Category 1 CME credit for activities planned in accordance with the AAPA CME Criteria. This activity is designated for 45 AAPA Category 1 CME credits. PAs should only claim credit commensurate with the extent of their participation.
