Professional Biography
Jeffrey Babin has more than 25 years of experience practicing, teaching, writing, and consulting on innovation for diverse organizations ranging from Fortune 500 clients and emerging companies to college and university programs and students. He serves as a professor and associate director in Engineering Entrepreneurship at the School of Engineering and Applied Science (SEAS). He is the advisor for the Penn Wharton Entrepreneurship Venture Initiation Program and the Entrepreneurship Strand Leader and a technology strategy instructor at the Graduate School of Education — all at the University of Pennsylvania.
Mr. Babin is a managing director and founder of Antiphony Partners, LLC, a strategy consulting firm that specializes in helping companies create sustainable value through innovation. Prior to Antiphony, he served as CEO of Corporate Technology Ventures, a company he founded and grew into one of the nation’s premier medical software publishing companies. He is a co-author of Marketing That Works: How Entrepreneurial Marketing Can Add Sustainable Value to Any Sized Company (FT Press). He is an entrepreneurial fellow for the Weiss Tech House. Mr. Babin is a founding member of the Mid-Atlantic Angel Group Fund, a seed and early stage investment fund. He earned a B.A. degree from the University of Pennsylvania and an MBA from The Wharton School.
