Professional Biography
Dr. Ant Bagshaw is a strategy consultant at L.E.K. Consulting, where he leads the firm’s work in Australia and New Zealand as part of its Global Education Practice. Ant began his career in the UK working for the National Union of Students and the Quality Assurance Agency, both higher education organizations. He then supported the senior management teams at the University of Kent and London School of Economics before joining the sector media company Wonkhe as Deputy CEO. Ant’s doctoral research explores how stakeholders engage with the development of higher education policy, and he is co-editor of Influencing Higher Education Policy: A Professional Guide to Making an Impact, published by Routledge in 2020. Ant is a graduate of four universities including Cambridge and Sheffield. He has worked with universities in the UK, Australia, Canada, Malaysia, and the Middle East.
