Dr. Monique Harrison is a postdoctoral fellow in Penn’s Graduate School of Education. She was previously a Dissertation Fellow at the Clayman Institute for Gender Research as well as the lab manager for the Pathways Research Lab. She spent several years as an instructor and administrator in higher education and, prior to that, was a middle school math/science teacher and administrator.
At Penn I am currently working on a project on Career and Technical Education courses in high school, and how they relate to higher education outcomes. In other work, I currently follow a cohort of undergraduates to understand how gender, race, and socio-economic status influence academic predilections and course choices.
