Professional Biography
Robert Rivera-Amezola teaches digital literacy to students in grades K–6. In 2020, Robert was the recipient of the Lindback Award for Distinguished Teaching. Robert completed his dissertation at Penn GSE in 2018, where he used borderland theory to help guide his thinking on teacher development and inquiry work. Robert just completed a 5-year placement on the leadership team of the College, Career, and Community Writing Project of the National Writing Project. At Penn GSE, he teaches in the Mid-Career Doctoral Program in Educational Leadership.
