Professional Biography
Anne Russell studied Classics at Princeton University before arriving at Kent School in 1990 as a teaching intern. She went on to earn her M.A. in Latin at the University of Georgia while teaching at Saint Andrew’s School in Boca Raton, Florida. In her 33 years of teaching, she has taught Latin and Ancient Greek to students in Grades 6–12. In 2005, she was awarded The Class of 2000 Teaching Chair at Kent School. She then served as the Director of Professional Development and Dean of Faculty for 15 years. Anne is now the Director of Fellowship Programs at Kent School and works within the Teaching and Learning strand in the Independent School Teaching Residency program.
