Biography
Dr. Serapiao is a post-doctoral fellow and lecturer at the University of Pennsylvania Graduate School of Education (Penn GSE). He has a master’s and a doctoral degree from the University of Pennsylvania in Organizational Learning & Leadership, and he is now specializing in Mental Health Counseling (LPC). He is the co-founder of the Penn GSE Global Possibility Network (GPN), a global network to enhance youth development using Possibility Development Counselling. He is the Improvement Science Leader and Liaison for the Penn GSE Consortium for Mental Health and Optimal Development, an initiative to help school districts build mental health capacity though developing and implementing comprehensive mental health strategic plans. He is affiliated with Penn GSE Catapult—Catalyst @ Penn GSE’s virtual EdTech accelerator, working as an advisor and researcher for select ventures that are accelerated through the platform. Previous to joining Penn GSE, Dr. Serapiao served as the Chief Human Resources officer at 3G Capital's partner companies. With more than 25 years of executive experience, including the C-suite, he worked in several different areas such as Management for Results & Leadership, Human Resources, Supply Chain & Operations, Sales & Marketing, Strategy & Planning, M&A integration, and Innovation & Technology.
