These prices reflect the combined tuition and general fees for the 2019-20 academic year. The rates listed are effective summer 2019 through spring 2020. All tuition and fees are subject to the approval of the Trustees and the University of Pennsylvania and are subject to change without notice.

Tuition and Fees Scheduled for M.S.Ed. & M.Phil.Ed. Programs: The total cost of tuition and fees for traditional, full-time masters and M.Phil.Ed. degree programs at Penn GSE can be found using our Net Price Calculator. Traditional, full-time Ed.D. students are billed according to the standard per-Course Unit rate.

UNIVERSITY STUDENT HEALTH SERVICE AND HEALTH INSURANCE REQUIREMENTS

The University of Pennsylvania require students to meet certain health requirements, including carrying adequate health insurance coverage and immunization against diseases. All full time, dissertation and exchange students (in classes for one term or longer) are required to have comprehensive health insurance. The Penn Student insurance Plan (PSIP) is available for students who do not have insurance, whose plans do not provide coverage in the Philadelphia area, or whose plans do not meet our criteria for alternative insurance. Current rates for PSIP are available here. All full time students, whether enrolled in PSIP or not, will be charged a mandatory $304 clinical fee in the fall and spring. This gives students access to Student Health Services.
