Biography

Shahab Kaviani is a Washington, D.C.-based entrepreneur and executive coach with over 20 years of experience launching and scaling high-growth ventures. He has founded three SaaS companies, leading to multiple successful exits—most notably CoFoundersLab, where as CEO, he grew the platform into a global community of over 500,000 entrepreneurs.

A recognized expert in team dynamics and strategic growth, Shahab has spent over 15 years mastering the talent combinations required to build high-performing startup teams. His insights have led him to conduct workshops on co-founder relations and SaaS partnerships at prestigious institutions, including Columbia Business School and NYU's Stern School of Business. His track record earned him recognition from CNBC as the founder of one of the world’s top 25 startups.

Currently, Shahab serves as:

  • Executive Coach at FounderWell: Mentoring over 75 founders in leadership development and exit preparation.
  • Founder of Tandem Growth Studio: Focusing on empowering clients in high-growth environments.
  • Capstone Instructor at Penn GSE: Teaching in the Education Entrepreneurship master’s program for the fifth consecutive year.

Shahab was most recently the co-founder of Breezio, a community engagement platform where he continues to serve as an adviser and board member. A frequent global speaker on fundraising and the innovation economy, he holds a B.A. in economics from the University of Maryland, College Park.
