As of early July, 17 University of Pennsylvania students and alumni have been offered Fulbright US Student Program grants for the 2025-26 academic year. The list includes two Class of 2022 alumni from Penn GSE: Emily R. Antrilli and Emma Steinheimer.
Antrilli, who graduated with an MSEd in Secondary Education: English from the Urban Teaching Apprenticeship program (UTAP), has been offered a Fulbright to teach English in Taiwan. Steinheimer, who earned both her MSEd in Secondary Education: English from UTAP and her certification in Urban Teaching: Special Education (K-12) from the Urban Teaching Residency program, is headed to Morocco on Fulbright's English Teaching Assistant Award.
The Fulbright Program, which has rolling admissions, is the United States government’s flagship international educational exchange program, awarding grants to fund as long as 12 months of international experience. Penn consistently ranks as a “Top-Producing Institution” among those with the highest number of candidates selected for the Fulbright US Student Program.
