How does Penn GSE provide a dynamic vision for education?

Improve students’ learning in a changing world

Penn GSE is producing the transformational leaders the world needs at every level of education. Our more than 16,000 alumni have a global impact as leaders and innovators. They are teachers, counselors, entrepreneurs, chief learning officers, K-12 and higher education administrators, over forty-five college presidents, and other education professionals, and their ranks grow greater every year.

Penn GSE’s longtime commitment to innovation has produced cutting-edge experiences in research and practice for our students, groundbreaking studies by our faculty, and an array of pioneering programs. The Milken-Penn GSE Education Business Plan Competition, the first and preeminent program of its kind, fosters nascent companies and their game-changing ideas to support learning. An early adopter of executive programs, Penn GSE rises to the challenge of preparing working professionals around the world for new and growing fields such as corporate learning management, medical education, and education entrepreneurship.

In the future, a new center for innovation at Penn GSE will be a dynamic, multifaceted hub that develops, tests, and deploys new models to improve education in a twenty-first-century context.
