Engagement Opportunities

Become a Penn GSE Alumni Ambassador

Alumni are the lifeblood of any institution—and Penn GSE is no exception. We strive to build meaningful pathways for graduates to stay engaged in a lifelong relationship with each other and the school. By becoming a Penn GSE Ambassador, alumni have the opportunity to give back and ensure a dynamic and robust network for current and future alumni.

Through partnerships within GSE and across Penn, Ambassadors provide an invaluable service to prospective and current students, and fellow alumni.

Other ways to volunteer

Penn Alumni Interview Program

The Alumni Interview Program is dedicated to offering an interview to every undergraduate applicant to the University of Pennsylvania. In doing so, we are making Penn more accessible to all applicants, are allowing them a chance to advocate for themselves, and are providing Penn Admissions with information they might not otherwise find in an application.

Key Quakers – Social Media Ambassador Program

Key Quakers, Penn Alumni's Social Media Ambassador Program, is an online community of proud Penn alumni advocates, like you, who love and value your Penn experiences. This new initiative was designed to keep you connected and engaged with news, events, ideas, and updates from across the University. If you find yourself sharing stories of Penn with your digital and social media circles, we’d love for you to become a Key Quaker.

Multicultural Outreach

Working to encourage alumni of color and LGBTQIA alumni to find and maintain meaningful connections and active engagement with Penn, the Multicultural Outreach team in Alumni Relations seeks to increase diverse alumni participation through the support of groups that center on culturally-focused alumni affiliation and interaction, as well as intercultural collaboration.

Interest Groups

Penn Alumni Families

The Penn Alumni Families program provides family-specific programming targeting Philadelphia area alumni with children or grandchildren. This series of programs provides an opportunity for alumni to enjoy Penn events with an emphasis on programming for their families.

Shared Interest Groups for Penn Alumni

Penn Alumni recognizes shared interests to be a critical part of what connects so many alumni with each other and with Penn. Therefore, in alliance with its mission to establish a mutually beneficial lifelong relationship between the University and its alumni, and to encourage peer-to-peer interaction, Penn Alumni formally supports the development and existence of Penn Alumni Shared Interest Groups (SIGs).
