The pandemic has left college boards facing stark and difficult choices. But the pressure is also creating opportunities for boards to evolve in ways that could be beneficial in the long term, Peter Eckel and Cathy A. Trower argue in Board Source.

Instead they look at opportunities for boards to benefit from this time of upheaval and address areas for growth that existed pre-COVID. One suggestion? Appreciate the complexity, and approach decision making differently.
